2021 High School Summer Football Program
STATE MANDATED BLACKOUT PERIOD - July 2-11 - No football activities or football-related strength and conditioning.
2021 Official Practice will start on August 9 for Varsity. It will start August 12 for Freshmen.
Equipment pickup will be on the first day of practice.
First Varsity game is 9/2/21 at home vs. Hunterdon Central

2021 Freshman Mini-Camp
Date: June 17-18
Objective: To introduce team schemes and concepts, and practice techniques under the guidance of the high school coaching staff in preparation for summer training. We will also perform some baseline phyisical testing.

2021 Varsity Mini-Camp
Objective: To introduce team schemes and concepts, and practice techniques under the guidance of the high school coaching staff in preparation for summer training.
Date: June 22-24
Times: 3:30pm - 6:30pm
Pre Season Summer Weightroom Testing ('21/'22 Soph – Seniors)
Objective: To establish individualized summer weightroom programs and measure progress of
all who have been training.
Date: TBD, in early June
Times: 2:30-4:30pm - groups TBD
2021 Summer Football Program
Objective: To practice individual and team techniques and concepts under the guidance of the
high school coaching staff in preparation for the upcoming season. These sessions will
follow the evening weight lifting sessions with Coach McFarland, and begin with 30
minutes of on field strength, speed, and explosion training under his direction. We will also have passing
scrimmages against other schools, times and locations TBD.
Date: Mondays, Wednesday and Thursday from June 28 - Aug 5
Times: 7:00am – 9:00am - JV/Varsity
8:30am - 10:15am - Freshmen

Summer Football Weight Training (register through Coach McFarland)
Objective: To improve strength, speed, conditioning, and explosion under the guidance of
Coach McFarland and the strength staff. The football coaches will also frequently be
